Cilantro`s Restaurant in Kinder

Look, I hate to be harsh or even remotely critical in reviews. But I want to be honest. I’ve been to this spot several times and am always underwhelmed. It’s not that the food is bad; it’s just that it’s ok. It’s one of the few Mexican places in the surrounding area without having to go to Lake Charles so that’s a plus for it. Their cheese dip is pretty good. One of the items I enjoy is their flautas. The shrimp nachos are surprisingly good too. That being said, their prices are too high for the portions served. In short: good service but underwhelming food

They get 1 star because it was edible paid $25 for 2 half orders of quesadillas and 2 cups the size of a nacho cheese cup at taco bell of nasty salsa. The quesadillas were edible but nothing I would call good wouldn't even eat the salsa or tiny bag of chips!

Order the T-bone Steak med. Brought to me over cooked and bland. Rice was hard as if it was recooked. Beans was white and no flavor. Salsa is not fresh maybe from can. The serves was okay. Nice old couple waited on us. Hotel was close by thought it would be a nice mexican restunant. Not the case. Not worth the price. Very over price for the quality of food.

Good food and service

Great people, great service, and the beer is always cold...... I highly recommend trying them and if you are not sure what to order ask them about what is good and they will help you narrow down your selection

This place is amazing!!!! I'm originally from Sonora Mexico and loved having a taste of home... Wait staff is amazing as well the rest of the crew!!!! THE CEVICHE IS AMAZING!!! TASTE LIKE HOME!!!!

Excellent food!

This is our favorite local diner, and the food is absolutely authentic and delicious. I'm anxiously awaiting the opportunity to go back, hang out with the lovely staff, and eat that incredible and fresh food.Downfall: closed on Tuesday. It's such an odd day to be closed, missed out on my birthday diner b there because they were closed.

No flavor to the food. We always want to give them the benefit of a doubt but we are so disappointed every time. Not the cilantros it was when it first opened. Way over priced for the poor quality of food.

Being from Texas the beans were not that great. The tortillas were not that great the taste was good. And no over easy eggs

Want food out of a can at a outrageous price? This is the place for you! This restaurant doesn’t deserve the star I gave it. “Queso “ was American cheese with some salsa. Ordered our food...no lie 3 minutes later it was on our table!! Food had no flavor whatsoever I think I would have preferred canned food! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

This was my first time. I truly enjoyed the enchiladas best; however, everything was really good. I will return in the future.

EXPENSIVE. The food isn’t bad. It is NOT worth the prices charged. A plain chicken and cheese quesadilla, with no sides, after tax, is $11.50. For ONE quesadilla?? No drinks or sides. I drove 30 extra minutes to the next Mexican restaurant, spent $18 and fed two very hungry adults and still had leftovers.I have never had BAD food from here. I just don’t want to choose between one meal or my student loan payment.

Good food, good service, convenient parking, great margaritas

Over priced for what you get. The food has NO flavor or seasoning. Salsa tasted and had the consistency like marinara with a tiny bit of pepper or some type of spice but it was more sweet than spicy.

I took about 3 bites of my burrito and knew it was bad. Apparently it was spoiled meat. I missed 2 days of work due to what was apparently food poisoning. I'd love to support them but not at that cost.

The service was wonderful! The hot sauce was a little different but it wasn't bad! The queso was right on and oh my gosh at the margaritas! I was very excited to see stuffed bell peppers on a Mexican menu, they did not disappoint!
